Location: Southwest Feedyard, Hereford, Texas 

Job Description: Wrangler Feedyard is seeking a full-time Welder to join our Yard R&M Department. This role is primarily focused on welding and fabrication, including bunks, fence rails, and other feedyard structures. The welder will also assist with shop maintenance and additional projects as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Perform welding and fabrication on feed bunks, fence rails, and structural components

• Operate welding and shop equipment safely and efficiently

• Assist with concrete construction and repair projects when required

• Support the maintenance crew with additional shop and repair tasks

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Follow all Cactus operating procedures and OSHA safety guidelines

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

 • High school diploma, GED, or technical/trade school certificate (preferred)

• 1–2 years of welding and fabrication experience

• Ability to read and interpret written instructions and technical drawings

• Strong attention to safety and detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Comfortable working in outdoor conditions (heat, cold, dust) and at heights

• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods

• Dependable attendance and clear communication skills
